COBURG Hill

This project consists of circa 200 townhouses across several Medium Density sites within Satterley’s successful Coburg Hill project in Melbourne’s inner North. This was a Joint Venture negotiated by Peter Burke from GPC representing Metricon in negotiations with the land developer Satterley. GPC was engaged to oversee the Urban Design phase of all MD sites, including the Civil Construction Design, work with the Metricon design team to create the specific product designs, manage the planning phase with Council and then Project Manage the construction phase which was undertaken by Metricon.

ELPIS

Located in Truganina, Elpis comprises 583 residential lots over 18 stages and 5 Medium Density sites. GPC became involved after stage 4 and are responsible for the design and development of the remaining stages and have acted for the purchasers of the Medium Density sites in obtaining Planning Permits for development. GPC has also assisted the developer in refinancing the development of the property.

HIGHLANDS

This significant Medium Density project consists of 197 two, three and four bedroom townhouses and is the second project site at the successful Highlands project in Melbourne’s North undertaken in a Joint Venture by Stockland and Metricon. GPC’s Peter Burke negotiated the Joint Venture agreement between the parties representing Metricon in the negotiations. Utilising Metricon designed product, GPC was also engaged to oversee the project Urban Design including the Civil Construction Design phase and the planning approval from Council for the project.

 

OPALIA

Located in Weir Views, Melton South, Opalia comprises 581 residential lots, 3 Medium Density sites, a School site and large areas of open space. It also has a shopping centre comprising Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse, Child Care, and other food outlets. GPC is responsible for the planning and development of the residential components of the estate over nine stages including the upgrading of Exford Rd. GPC has also acted for the purchaser of a 2ha Medium Density site to obtain a Planning Permit for approximately 80 dwellings. GPC has also assisted the developer in obtaining finance to both purchase and develop the property.

The Directors, key staff of GPC Consultants have many years’ experience in all aspect of residential development solutions, sales and marketing strategies. All personnel have held key positions in publicly listed and private companies. Individual references are available should they be required.

Peter Burke

MANAGING DIRECTOR

After starting in general real estate in 1970 Peter joined publicly listed building and property development company AV Jennings in 1980 where he held several Senior Management roles. In 1995 Peter joined leading Australian developer Australand heading up their Residential operations across Australia.

Peter retired in 2008 from Corporate life and founded GPC Consultants the same year where he is currently Managing Director and remains active in the day to day operations of the business. Peter has extensive experience in building, residential land subdivision, medium density and high rise development.

Peter Howren

DIRECTOR

Peter has extensive experience in land development and commenced as a Civil Engineer. He has held senior positions in both Government and Private Enterprise including the overall management of large residential land development businesses in Melbourne.

Projects range from small infill sites to a residential suburb with a major focus on planning, development, marketing, sales and profit centre management. He is a former director of the UDIA which was a 10 year role.

David Webb

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

David holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has worked in both Public and Private Enterprise as a Project Manager. He has been responsible for managing the development of many large residential land projects covering the planning, design and construction phases to deliver them on time and within budget.

Brett Burke

PROJECT MANAGER

Brett has a Construction Management degree and over 20 years experience in the construction industry working In Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia. He has mainly worked with Developers and Builders with a range of tasks from Contracts Administration, Construction Supervision and Project Management of domestic, apartments, commercial and industrial and land developments.

Charlie Martello

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Charlie has extensive experience in Project Management of commercial and residential projects. A respected industry identity with over 40 years’ experience, and vast technical and management experience in the residential and commercial construction industry. Charlie has previously held senior executive positions at Jennings Construction, Fletcher Construction Australia, Maddison Homes Australia and Metricon Homes.
